Corsica - An Island For Foodies

The island of Corsica is anomalous-shaped, think of a bunch of grapes held by the stem at the peak. The wild and stunningly beautiful Cap Corse forms the stem. The financial credit of the cluster, is reflected by the utterly varied topography, mountain peaks (120 summits reaching plus more 2000 meters), river gorges, sandy beaches and lush plains. My husband and I were told by some connections that Corsica is moreover a mini-France, offering a bit of everything in a small flavor. Unquestionably, the island offers the traveller a plentiful and tasty experience within its' 1000km coastline. The Corsican population is fiercely distant of their locally produced food and beverage products, we felt it our loyalty to sample a wide variety of the easy to use goods during our stay.

The previously are the ABC's of Corsican offerings for the hungry and parched traveller:

Domaine Arena - one of the peak-rated wines upon the island offering excellent red and white varieties. This winemaker is located in the Patrimonio region. They were one of the first vineyards to begin the arduous process of replanting unchanging Corsican grapes such as Biancu Gentile. The wine is made in an organic style, and it is sweet.
